Our History

Late 1960’s

Founder Antonios Tsesmetzis established ‘Ace Joinery’ in Dapto, marking one of the pioneering specialised joineries in the Illawarra region

Late 1970’s

Antonios and his son Jim collaborated, leading to the expansion of the joinery and a rebranding to ‘A & D Joinery’

Mid 1980’s

Jim took charge of ‘A & D Joinery,’ cultivating long-lasting business connections throughout the Illawarra region, which remain widespread even now

Early 1990’s to early 2000’s

In the early 90’s, Jim rebranded the business as, “Coast to Coast Kitchens” and relocated the joinery to its longstanding position in West Wollongong. His eldest son Tim joined as an apprentice in 2003, followed by his second eldest son Tony, in 2005

April 2011

Jim handed over the reins to his sons, Tim and Tony. Since then, the brothers have consistently expanded and elevated the business, continuing strong connections and relationships with clients

Today

Our commitment to growth and business development remains unwavering. We’ve grown our team and are in the process of expanding our workshop. Additionally, we are excited to announce that we are working on a new and exciting showroom display cottage, which is scheduled to open early 2024.
